Metric Interface

The Metric Interface provides functionality for implementing evaluation metrics.

Overview
--------

Metrics are used to evaluate model performance. The MetricTemplate class supports:

* Custom metric definitions
* State management across batches
* Reset and update operations
* Integration with training loops
